Travelling In South Africa


South Africa possesses more than 3, 000 kilometres of coastline as well as breathtaking mountains and hills in which you will generally see them side by side. The actual state has a very nice weather condition and is perfect for any outdoor activities such as sports, games, leisure and other adventure activities. Different places in South Africa attract several tourists and visitors all over the year. Whatever you prefer to see this place –either by using your bare foot, or a bike or boat or on a safari vehicle - you will absolutely enjoy the beauty of nature within this fabulous Africa.

South Africa does also provide world-class mountain climbing, paragliding, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding in safari, mountain biking, river rafting and even scuba diving– and just any other extreme sport and hobbies, you are able to experience this amazing adventure if you visit this reserved land of South Africa.

 Extreme sports are also popular in South Africa and this is what the government is trying to bring out to the tourist. The government is trying to promote tourism across their country but still wanting to keep the nature preserved and unharmed. What people love to experience in South Africa is the bungee jumping which is very thrilling and hurt pumping. The other adventure which is also popular is the Otter Trail Hike. It’s not just an ordinary hiking as you will need to spend 5 days just to finish the entire travel. In this adventure, you have also given a privilege to go snorkelling and swimming and spend your time in these preserve areas.

 If you will also visit the Waterval Boven in Mpumalanga, you can see a huge and enormous cliff along this mountain which is perfect for wall climbing. Thousands of huge rocks and cliffs are climbed and are still being climbed by people who want to experience adventure and some of the cliffs are still being discovered.  Canyoneering or kloofing is also popular among visitors here because it is an adventure that you will never forget. This is usually done by skilled and physically fit adventurous people. This activity also requires climbing, jumping, swimming, walking or even abseiling. If you are a nature lover, game viewing is the right activity for you. This game will let you see those “Big Five” such as the rhinoceros, buffalo, elephant, lion and leopard. Penguin, whales, meerkats, antelope, birds and wild dogs to name a few are some of the wild animals that are very addictive to watch over their preserve sanctuary.

North West Province like Rustenburg is also treasuring different tourist attractions like Pilanesberg National Park, Kgaswane Mountain Reserve and Rustenburg Nature Reserve. These attractions are one of the most featured tourist spot in North West Province. The Buffelspoort Dam is also one the most important dam in South Africa and is a popular fishing spot and skiing. You will not get tired seeing those fabulous wildlife animals and the dramatic scenery of nature during sunset time.

So if you have time to cross in South Africa, spend a couple of days to visit some tourist spot which you are interest. This visit for sure is an experience that you will never forget.
